viewcards showing my city Sibiu in older times

Here are some cards of old Sibiu (my hometown). Most show the defense towers around the city. In the Middle ages and later there used to be 31, now only 9 are left. They used to mark the borders of the city, now they are a significant historical part and are integrated in the city areal, which of course has become much, much bigger since then.

This defense tower still exists and it is in a park near my house ;]
